About Me
My Background
Hello, my name is Zora Thomas!
I am a mass communication and history double major at Xavier University of Louisiana.
I was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin but I’ve traveled all over the world. I’ve studied at international schools in the Philippines, Zambia and India. With these experiences I’ve been able to develop a globalized perspective on the world and the way I interact with mass communications. Overseas I learned about the culture of sports, the arts, food and community in various countries. My experiences are what impacted me to pursue a career in mass communications.

I aspire to be a broadcast coordinator for a sports network. I played varsity volleyball for 4 years in high school and on club teams all year around. As my love for the sport grew I learned about collegiate and professional volleyball hoping to be involved in the production and growth of the sport.
In high school I was apart of the Thespian Honor Society and I love film. I’ve acted and been stage manager for productions in my schools. In the thespian honor society we had a film festival where I produced, acted and wrote a film with my friends. I hope to also do TV production and stage production in a theater or film environment.
